Emergency Physician, Permanent Full-Time
Emergency, Central Newfoundland Regional Health Centre, Grand Falls-Windsor

Definition of work:
The physician will join 4 other Emergency Room physicians covering the department 24 hours a day (12 hour shifts). The successful physician must work in a team-based, client-focused environment, and partner with all team members to improve employee and patient safety by integrating safe work practices, identifying risk and implementing improvements when required.

Qualifications:
- Eligible for registration and licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Newfoundland and Labrador
- CFPC certification (special competency in Emergency Medicine not required but favorable for the position).
- Candidates should have completed or be registered for ACLS, and PALS, within 6 months of acceptance, ATLS within 1 year of acceptance
- Or your training and certification is from an approved jurisdiction. Approved jurisdictions: Australia, United Kingdom, United States, New Zealand, Ireland, South Africa, Singapore, Hong Kong and Switzerland.

Remuneration:
- Fee-for-Service (Sessional) at Category A hourly rate $232

Hours of work:
- 10 shifts per month (scheduling flexibility exists)
