Registered Nurse I - Travel Nurse, Casual, Location to be determined based on need, Central Newfoundland, Canada

Definition of Work:
The Travel Nurse will move among Central Health facilities as required to provide professional nursing care to clients in various nursing departments. The successful candidate must demonstrate an awareness of and be responsible for promoting and supporting person-and family-centered care, demonstrate a commitment to safety and partner with all team members to improve worker and patient safety by integrating safety into work practices, identifying risks and implementing improvements.

Required qualifications:
* Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
* Current registration with the Association of Registered Nurses of Newfoundland and Labrador.
* A minimum of two years of clinical experience.
* Current ACLS, TNCC, PALS, and CTAS.
* Completion of the Health Assessment course or willingness to complete next available course.
* Current BLS certification for health care providers from the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
* A valid Newfoundland and Labrador Class 5 Driver's License and the use of a private vehicle are conditions of employment.
* Ability to be flexible and adapt to fast pace changing environments.
* Demonstrated critical thinking, judgement, decision making, organization, and leadership skills.
* Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills, as well as, the ability to effectively foster relationships.
* A satisfactory record of work performance and attendance is required for this position.
* A satisfactory Certificate of Conduct from the RCMP or local police authority.

Hours of Work: Call as needed (Shift work may be required)
Salary: NS-28 ($32.98-$40.83)
NS-30 ($35.04-$43.50)
NS-31 ($36.42-$44.73)
